Lorenzo Moroni is the recipient of the TERMIS-EU Young Scientist Award 2016

FAST project coordinator Prof. Dr. Lorenzo Moroni - MERLN Institute at Maastricht University and FAST project coordinator - is the recipient of the TERMIS-EU Young Scientist Award 2016.
The Young Scientist Award recognizes an individual, who has demonstrated outstanding achievements in the field of tissue engineering and regenerative medicine research, during the early stages of his career with clear evidence of a growing profile. The award will be hand over on 30th June 2016 during the annual TERMIS- EU conference.
The goal of the conference is to bring together the leading experts within the tissue engineering and regenerative medicine community to present and discuss their latest scientific and clinical developments.
The last years of research, and especially the increased collaborations between various specialties, have led to tangible improvements that are now starting to benefit patients. This meeting will not only serve as an important teaching platform, but will also give young scientists the opportunity to present innovative studies.
